I spent the first seven years of my life in Liverpool but I grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It still feels like home. From an early age I worked in the culinary industry. A pivotal moment for me was working for M. J. Adams at the Corn Exchange. Inspired by the farmers she sourced her ingredients from, I decided to work in conservation. I spent eight years working hands on with farmers and ranchers in South Dakota to help them design sustainable water supplies. When my family and I moved to Minneapolis I decided to pursue a career helping chefs and farmers share their stories with the world.
